Atlanta Window Film
Window Film Depot was recently contracted by a major US retailer to install 3M solar control window film on it’s five story Eastern European headquarters building in Cluj, Romania. Over the course of 30 days in July, Window Film Depot scoped the project, provided installed samples of window film and presented a compelling energy analysis and payback study for the client. Upon contract approval, WFD flew it’s window film “SWAT Team” into Bucharest and installed over 21 K square feet of 3M high performance silver Affinity 15 window film - in 6 days. The Hard Rock Seminole Casino in Tampa recently chose Window Film Depot to install high-performance window films at it’s Seminole Casino to help control the glare from the sun that was causing discomfort for it’s Gamers. As an added benefit, the window film blocks 99 % of the UV exposure and nearly 70% of the heat coming through the glass. According to Mike V., project manager for Hard Rock, “The Window Film Depot guys did such a great job, we immediatly asked them to come back and address the sun problem we were experiencing in the buffet room. Once again, they worked swiftly and professionally -and the window film solved our issue. Problem solved.”

WFD recently installed 3M Window Film (NV25) on 15K sq. ft. of Glass at the FDA Building in Irvine, Clifornia. Not only does the film look fantastic, but it also saved the FDA over $20K in year over year energy costs for the month of June 2007. This film project will pay for itself in less than 1 year in energy davings alone…..Government continues to push Green Buildings and is putting its money into real energy conservation solutions like window film. Coastal areas are subject to natural windstorms such as hurricanes and tornadoes. These high winds propel miscellaneous debris at high speeds. Many times this debris can come through a home’s or office’s window and threaten the safety of those inside.
